See how strategy makes brands unforgettable.
More than logos and colours
A brand isn’t your logo or a palette. It’s the sum of what buyers think and feel about you, if they think of you at all. In B2B, recall is everything. We deliver strategies rooted in customer insight and commercial reality that make your brand remembered, recommended and chosen.
“Hallam’s Brand project has given us an unassailable point of difference, and we’re so proud of our distinctive new identity that reflects the bold way we deliver our work.”

Why brand strategy pays off
We replace vague positioning with clarity that gives your business internal alignment and external edge.
Clarity
A single, evidence-led brand position aligns leadership, marketing and sales, turning scattered voices into one coherent message.
Differentiation
Customer and category insight uncover what buyers actually value, helping you own a position competitors can’t
credibly claim.
Longevity
A clear brand strategy makes campaigns land harder and last longer, improving ROI across performance marketing and sales enablement.
Let’s take the first step. We’re ready.
How we work, works.
We’re in the business of results. Take a look at some of our most recent work, or get in touch and we’ll show you what
great looks like.
Inside-out and outside-in
We balance internal alignment with external reality. Interviews with stakeholders, customers and category analysis reveal the triggers, tensions and opportunities that matter. We then map Category Entry Points, those real-world buying moments when you need to be remembered. After which we shape a position that resonates. The outcome is a strategy that unites your people and stands out in your market.
When strategy
meets reality
We make sure brand strategy leaves the deck. Campaigns, sales enablement, messaging, content and tone of voice all flow from a single clear position. Our practical approach means your team knows exactly how to apply it in the boardroom, in creative and in-market. The result is a brand that shows up consistently, wins attention and strengthens your long-term
commercial performance.
We’re an integrated

Creativity doesn’t work in isolation. It needs to be led by an effective, robust strategy, deployed across relevant touchpoints and optimised across the channels most suited to your brand.
Brand Identity
We create identities people feel instantly, shaped by strategy and made to be remembered.
Creative Campaigns
We create B2B campaigns that just can’t be ignored. Bold ideas that travel across every channel, spark conversation and turn attention into lasting and measurable commercial results.

We bring the focus and creativity that turn attention into momentum and commercial impact.
User Experience
We fix the friction, by designing journeys that drive conversion and keep customers coming back.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I need a brand strategy?
Because without strategy you’re just colouring in. A proper brand strategy begins with understanding the market, your competitors and your customers, then sets clear objectives and a positioning you can own. It tells you where to focus, how to stand out, and which distinctive elements to build so people remember you at the right moment. That way, all your activity works together, creating recognition and trust over time – rather than being wasted on scattered ideas.
To quote Sun Tzu: “Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.”
Why should I do customer research if this is about my brand?
A brand only really exists in the minds of the customer. A brand manager or marketer can control the inputs into the brand – the visual and verbal identity, the segmentation choices, the intended positioning, the activation of the brand in the marketplace. But it’s ultimately the customer who interprets the signals and decides what the brand stands for in their mind. Customer research helps us understand those perceptions and associations, so we know what action to take to change or reinforce them.
Can you deliver brand strategy as a standalone project?
Yes – brand strategy can absolutely be delivered as a standalone project. In fact, it’s often the smartest place to begin. It answers the big questions first: which customers matter most, what position you can credibly own, and what objectives should guide all future marketing. Once those choices are made, everything else – identity, campaigns, comms – has a clear direction. Without it, you risk jumping into tactics with no compass. With it, you set foundations that make every pound you spend work harder.
How long does it take to put together a brand strategy?
It varies with the size of the challenge. A full rebrand will take longer than a simple repositioning, but most brand strategy projects land in the three-to-four month window. That time allows us to do proper diagnosis, talk to your senior team, listen to your customers, and translate objectives into clear marketing choices. Rush it and you get generic fluff; take the right time and you get a strategy that actually guides decisions and pays back.
